There are 4 things you should look for when
seeking a home based business opportunity.
Without any 1 of these vital necessities,
you are pressing your luck so MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS POST!

Why is it so many people fail in building their
home based businesses?  What is the secret?

There are a few things to consider with your business…

1)  You must have a product that people are in dire
need of, something that stands out among the hundreds
of services or products out there today.

2)  You must be able to get the word out about your
product/service. It doesn’t matter if you have the
best product/service on earth, if nobody hears about
it you’re not making money.

3)  Proven System/Support.  If you have the support
and a proven system that is necessary to get results,
you will succeed.  If there is coaching/training (even better)
available to you all you will have to do is follow
the instructions to get the same results.

4)  Drive/desire.  A lot of people see ads out there
that really look like lottery tickets and that’s what
they expect.  Business is business and any legitimate
business that makes money is going to require some
time and effort on the part of the individual.
That hits all of the 4 key things it takes to build
a successful home based business.

Now, what if there was a business model out there today
that hit all 4 key ingredients:

1)  Your own information product that people see value in,
a product people must own in order to solve a problem.

2)  A training system to assist you in getting the word out
about your product; tools that will blow your mind and build
your business in very little time.

3)  A duplicable system where anyone with any background
could come in and “turn the key” and have success.

4)  Well, the drive/desire is the only x-factor.  That’s you!
If you have the serious drive and desire to start living a
life without limits and you are dead set on achieving that
goal, you will succeed because failure is not even an option.

If there was a system that hit all of these critical aspects
for success, from product creation to marketing your own product,
would it be something that you would be interested
in learning more about?  If your answer was yes, you deserve to
check this out. Click here to be taken to a proven system that takes
you step by step to quickly create your own profitable small reports.

Today there are more websites on the Internet then
there are people on earth. Trying to figure out the
right Home Based Business to choose can be a little
frustrating. With so much information to choose
from it is very easy to become overwhelmed. Some work
at home opportunities that promise you this, and then
promise you that.

A perfect rule to follow is that,
if it sounds too good to be true than it usually is
too good to be true. Stay away from a company that
promises that you will make a certain dollar
amount in a certain amount of time. (Join this
Program and you can make a MILLION dollars a week.)

First of all no one but yourself knows your work habits.
So no one else can make you a promise of how much money
you will make, or the length of time it will take you
to make it. I don’t care how good the product might be.
Stay clear of a company that tells you that its possible
to become rich with little or no work at all.

For a Home Based Business to stay on top of its game,
it needs to grow with the ever changing times. So you
must always work at your business, updating, changing
formulas, trying new marketing strategies, sending out
the old and bringing in the new.

Never let your emotions get in the way of you using your
common sense. When I first started looking to start an
online Home Based Business. I joined one company after
another and bought one business opportunity after another.
The idea of being able to work at home clouded my judgments.
I would join one company work with it a couple of months,
I would never making any money. So I would move on to the
next golden opportunity, and I would repeat the same process
over and over. This went on for quite some time. I was under
the impression that I could join a company, and the big money
would just start rolling in automatically. It just didn’t happen like that
for me. It took me a couple of years to find out, in order
to be successful with a business you need to learn the business.

In order to learn the business you have to work at building
your business.

I remember back when I first set out to have a Home
Based Business. I spent a lot of money. I purchased a lot of
programs, and at the time thought that I had wasted a lot
of time. Today I know that it took what it took, in order for me to
get where I am today. If you are thinking of starting a online
business, don’t be discouraged, not knowing if its the right one.
Jump in with both feet, work it and make it the right program.

I have been there that unsure feeling, not knowing if its going
to work. This is the very reason that I am promoting
my latest at home opportunity, because it is a program
that dedicated to the new guy. It takes you by the hand
and shows you exactly what to do, step by step. It even
teaches you how to market your business. And that
is the most important factor.

I think back to my earlier years, I probably had bought some
pretty good products. But I didn’t know what to do with them.
Having the best product in the world is useless if no one knows
about it.

Marketing is the most important piece of the online
business puzzle. When you get the time stop by my website and
look it over. I’m confident you will like what you see. Today
it’s not about me, its about you. The hardest thing about
having a Home Based Business, is taking the first step
and getting started.

I like what Stone Evans, the Home-Biz Guy says, If you are
not willing to invest in yourself, then you need a job.
You need to work for someone else. Start the journey
to Financial Freedom. Wouldn’t you like to wake up
in the morning, and be able to go and do anything that
your heart desires? Wouldn’t you like to have the
time and the money to take that dream vacation that
others can only wish for? Get started today. It’s your
responsibility, and only you can make it happen.

To sum it all up, having and running your own home based
business can be fun and very rewarding. The only thing that
beats a failure is a try. See you at the TOP.

Hi and thanks for stopping by.  Here is part 2 of the series from Jim.

In this article, Jim gives you an actionable plan that will help you

stay organnized and on track. Put this information to good use

and you’ll be glad you did.

The Real Secret To Building A High-Profit Internet Business
By Jimmy D. Brown

My wife laughs every time she sees me doing it.

At least once or twice every week, I’ll be at my desk (or at the dining room table) with my Franklin Covey planner open and a stack of laminated checklists in hand.

“What are you doing, honey?” she calls, already knowing the answer.

“I’m planning”, I reply with a smile.

She laughs and I get back to work.

She laughs because she swears I spend half of my time “planning”. But, if you ask me how I’m able to get as much work done as I do in only 3 hours a day, I’ll point to a black Franklin Covey planner with about a dozen laminated checklists inside.

Building an Internet business is easy. Seriously. I’m not saying that it’s not complicated, because it is. I’m just saying that it’s easy to accomplish if you just have a system in place.

There’s very little in this world that can’t be accomplished with the right set of action steps in front of you.

Today, I’m going to give you such a system for building your Internet business. There are only 4 steps…

1. Decide What You Want To Do. Do you want to run an eBay(R) business? Be an affiliate marketer? Buy and sell reprint rights? Get involved in niche marketing? While all of those things will likely find their way into your plan in time, you gotta begin with one thing at a time.

My recommendation: Choose a “broad” topic you are interested in and begin building a list of folks interested in that topic.

2. Determine A Weekly Action Plan. After you decide what you want to do, it’s time to determine how to get it done. What I do is this: I create a weekly set of action steps. That is, I have a set of things I do on Monday, on Tuesday, and so forth. Decide how many hours (as little as ONE) you want to work each day and schedule yourself a reasonable amount of things to get done in that time frame. Repeat this process week after week.

My recommendation: Begin writing ezine articles to promote your list … and affiliate programs. It’s the easiest way to get free traffic and build your list at the same time.

3. Devote Yourself To Staying On Schedule. The important thing here is to stick to it. The easiest way that I know of to make certain you develop discipline in your schedule is to NOT set unrealistic expectations. Give yourself ample time to do each day’s action step – don’t overschedule. Look for progress along the way to celebrate. Reward yourself when you’ve reached a milestone. And, remember, you’re GROWING a business. Just like physical growth, it takes time … it WILL happen if you remain committed.

My recommendation: Weave in simple activities related to the following categories – List building (ezine articles), product creation(conduct interviews or hire ghostwriters), site development (making your site convert more visitors into buyers),and education (continuing to learn new ways to grow your business).

4. Develop Additional Shortcuts. As you get better and better at working with your lists, creating products and tweaking your site, you’ll want to continue to improve your business with new ideas, strategies, tools, and resources. The key is simple: never stop learning!

My recommendation: Visit forums. Read articles. Download reports. Identify sites and resources that CONTRIBUTE to your success in educating you. You want faster results, bigger increases, automated processes, and other ways to get more accomplished and more profit, with less work involved.

Everything depends on your developing a plan and sticking to it.

And that is the REAL secret to building a high-profit Internet business!

Believe it or not, there is a tremendous “operations manual” that you can download to help you create a plan that works for YOU. Check out “Homepreneur Habits: How To Run A Successful Home Business ” by clicking here You’ll learn all the tools you need, how to setup your work space and how to create a day-by-day schedule of recommended activities to start and grow your business.

With so many things to do to start a new business, it’s easy to
catch the “paralysis of analysis” disease. This is when you
become so overburdened with everything you need to do to get started,
that you out think yourself and you end up stuck. Sadly, your dream of
starting that business you were so motivated about in the beginning,
where you could finally kiss that 9 to 5 goodbye, looses steam.

Sounds familiar? Well, I’ve been there too. The key to helping me get up
and running was learning how to simplify tasks and focus on those 3
things that make me money. Below is a great article in a 2 part series by Jimmy Brown that talks about how to use a simple system to  get you on track and making money quickly.  Enjoy!

The Top 3 Money-Making “To Do” Activities
By Jimmy D. Brown (link: ) I’ve always been impressed with those who can take
overwhelming things and handle them with ease and poise. It never seemed
to work that way for me, until I discovered the secret for tackling those daunting tasks.

The secret is simple: make things simple!

With just about every major undertaking, things can be simplified
into a handful of “core” components. That makes them manageable.
Manageable fosters productivity simply because I can work on
something that seems accomplishable. And when productivity goes
up, desired results come.

I received the following question from one of my clients…

“If you have to pick, what would you say are the top 2 or 3
things we should concentrate on? I’ve heard the
domain/site(blog) are the most important, then others say
writing info products, others say lists. For short term and
long term investment, what is the most important things to
be working on?”

This client wants things simplified. And rightly so. He knows
the secret to success is getting things down into manageable

So, what are these core practices for building an internet
business? There are three things – and three things only – that
you need to concentrate on with your business…

1. Offer Development.

You cannot make money online unless you have an OFFER. It’s that
simple. Unless there is some way for income to be generated, you
can’t get paid. End of discussion. Every business is founded
upon a revenue-generating offer. Now, this can either be your
own offer (small reports, ebooks, membership sites, coaching/consulting,
advertising, etc.) or something you promote as an affiliate and
earn revenue for referred sales.

2. List Marketing.

The fortune is in the list. You’ve heard it an untold number of
times in the past, right? Building and profiting from opt-in lists
should be a major priority on your schedule. You need to devote
yourself to attracting new subscribers and then getting all of
your subscribers to spend money with you … by purchasing your
OFFERS (see #1 above).

3. Traffic.

The third and final thing you need to concentrate on is “traffic”.
This includes both traffic GENERATION (getting visitors to a site)
and traffic CONVERSION (getting that traffic to buy). This includes
things like: starting an affiliate program, buying PPC ads,
participating in joint ventures, utilizing viral marketing tools,
raising your visitor value, tweaking your sales pages, etc.

With each of these categories, you have a variety of options to choose
from in directing your attention. It would be foolish for me to say
“grow your affiliate program” as your number # traffic activity since
I don’t know if you even have your own product to sell. That’s why I
don’t recommend specific activities, but rather three key categories
of business-building.

With each of these categories, find 2-3 activities to work on each
week and you should see results in a short amount of time.

I recommend you work on offer development every Monday, list marketing
every Tuesday, and traffic generation every Wednesday. If you just
spend a couple hours each of these days working on these core parts
of your business, sales should come.

In a nutshell –

– Find an offer to promote.
– Setup a list to promote the offer.
– Drive traffic to the list opt-in page.

Keep it simple. Keep it successful.

Believe it or not, there is a tremendous “operations manual” that you can download to help you create a plan that works for YOU.
